Project: Critique Magazine, Inside Spread Design and image manipulation

This design was executed while employed at Neumeier Design Team.
Tremendous time and energy was spent designing and manipulating this
spread, so that every image and color appears natural. But is this really how
the young girl looks in real life, and pencil shavings fly effortlessly as though
they are seeds from a dandelion? I think not.
