Head instructors Vinh Chung enjoys the responsibility of teaching kids to be respectful and responsible through the disciplines of Judo.

Vinh Chung is a third-degree Black Belt (Sandan). And is certified through United States Judo Federation (USJF). USJF is the oldest Judo organization in the United States. Vinh is also a certified coaches through USA Judo , which is the National Governing Body for Judo in the United States.

Vinh studied Judo in the 70's under sensei Fred Lee of Lee's Judo Club located at Terra Nova High School in Pacifica. Fred Lee retired in 1984. After many years away from Judo, Vinh returns to his roots and assumed the position of head instructor of Pacifica Judo Club from Sensei Vern Johnson who recently retired. Aside from teaching Judo Vinh Chung is a certified National referee and is actively involved in both local and national level Judo tournaments.

Vinh Chung is a member of The City College of San Francisco Judo Club studying under Sensei Mitchell Palacio.
