Just a quick post to praise the merits of Vin and his company Kodokan Gear, I have just bought a Mizuno eurocomp from him and his advice and service is excellent. I live in England and the delivery was promp and with no problems. I recommend Kodokan Gear 100% for buying a gi and getting good advice.

Hi,I recently contacted Vinh about some equipment. He was honest and told me for my particular needs I could get a better price elsewhere. But I still ended up ordering a couple of the masterclass series books. That was on Wed and to my surprise they were waiting for me when I got home on Fri. Great service and just in time for some weekend reading.

I have known Vinh for over 25 years, we both studied under Sensei Lee in Pacifica, CA and I have never known him to do anything that would dishonor Judo. So if you want a fair price than you should check out my good friend, the Ferengi.

i just wanted to say how impressed i am with the service i received from Vin and Kodokan gear. I ordered a gi on wednesday, and i received a call from vin that day and he informed me they were out of stock on that size, but Vin was able to help me find the right gi, and I had my gi to me today! I've become a lifetime customer, and i would recommend anyone with any questions go through Kodokan gear, as they are a very helpful, and they also have good prices on their product.

I ordered a gi from vin on recommendation from this forum , and he was nothing but help full. I have ordered things from other places online , and I have never had such prompt help full replies . Even if the items ordered were a little more (in most cases not) money . I would rather order from him then anyone else!! In this fast moving e-world we are in you do not see service like this very often .

Ah so here it is, the Vin fan club, I was looking for this and I am not suprised to find it, I am a Big Judoka from the UK, I asked for some advice from Vin after hearing about him from this Forum. He sent me an email back asking for some details and then suggested a Dax Moskito size 7(200). Within a few days it was delivered, sure it may have cost a few etxra quid but to get the service from a company that obviously abides by the same ethics you would expecxt from a judoka, its worth every penny.
